Marketing, for founders without a marketer

The marketing department for founders who don’t have one.

Most tools assume you already have a strategy. Taqtiqal builds the strategy first, then guides you in running it, and shows you what each dollar bought.

The report is free. The Foundation engagement is $1,500–3,000 one-time: scope sets the figure, locked before we start.

You built something real. Some customers pay for it. And growing past them is where it stalls: you can’t tell which of your efforts produced a customer.

Marketing tools assume you already have a strategy. You don’t have time to become a marketer.

How it works

01 · Interview

A structured founder interview

Your knowledge, your instincts, and your honest unknowns, captured as the seed for everything else.

02 · Research

Evidence-grade research

Your market, competitors, pricing, and brand: sourced, dated, and confidence-marked.

03 · Verdict

An honest verdict

Including what would have to be true for marketing spend to make sense. If the honest answer is “not yet,” you’ll hear it.

04 · Living documents

Documents that stay alive

Built to be kept current, not filed: the strategy doesn’t go stale in a drawer.

Your free viability report

A complete, standalone viability read on your product: the verdict plus one full-quality insight from each lens (market, competition, pricing, brand). Not a teaser with blurred sections: a real answer to a narrower question. The paid engagement produces the full working documents, and keeps them alive.

A person reads every submission and follows up directly: this isn’t an automated report yet.

Thanks. We’re still wiring up automatic delivery: email hello@taqtiqal.com directly and we’ll follow up personally.
Thanks. We have your submission and will follow up.
Example report: illustrative data, not your product

Verdict: example

Not yet: fix your pricing floor and your name’s findability first. Then the funnel is worth building.
NOT YET · 2 fixes
Market
~28,400 founders a year hit the 1→10 scaling wall in your segment: a real, reachable pool, not a vanity TAM.
Competition
Nine funded tools crowd your category; none closes the loop from spend to customer. That gap is your wedge, and it is narrow.
Pricing
Your $50/mo instinct sits below the $129–249 the adjacent category charges. Test above it: you’re under-pricing trust.
Brand
Your name survives every collision check but fails the say-it-out-loud test. Pair it with a phonetic cue until branded search proves people find you.

This is a worked example, not a claim about any real market. Your report is built from your product, and the verdict can be GO, NOT YET, or NO-GO. If the honest answer is “don’t spend yet,” that’s what you’ll read.

The Foundation engagement

A working marketing foundation, built on evidence: one week, fixed price.

1. A structured founder interview: 60–120 minutes, live. Your knowledge, instincts, and honest unknowns become the seed for everything else.
2. Researched, sourced, confidence-marked documents: your competitive landscape, market size, pricing with comparables, brand voice and positioning, personas, channel plan, and a measurement framework that only claims what can honestly be measured.
3. The verdict: a written, evidence-argued viability assessment, including what would falsify it.
4. The execution roadmap: the plan your verdict implies, sequenced, with the evidence that unlocks each next step. Steps carry a coarse cost band where the evidence supports one, and say plainly that they are uncosted where it doesn’t.
$1,500–3,000 one-time

Final figure set by scope before we start: the price you’re quoted is the price you pay.

For comparison: a fractional CMO’s lightest advisory retainer runs $2,000–5,000 per month, and does not include drafting or execution.

If the honest answer is “don’t spend money on marketing yet, fix X first,” that is what you’ll hear. You are paying for the truth, not for encouragement.

Built by the same process we ran on ourselves first.

Promises we put in writing

The front door is honest on purpose: these are build requirements, not slogans.

No fake urgency

No countdown timers, no “only 3 spots left.” If something is genuinely urgent, we’ll tell you why.

Cancel as easy as signup

The same number of clicks it took to join. No call, no retention maze.

No silent rollovers

Renewal at the price you agreed to, on the date we told you. Changes are emailed before we charge, never after.

Real prices, no drip pricing

The price you’re quoted is the price you pay. No “starting at,” no surprises at checkout.

Export what’s yours, anytime

The information and source materials you gave us, plus the final engagement documents we produced for you, in a standard format: anytime, including the day you leave.

Results published only with consent

Customer numbers appear only with that customer’s written sign-off, and only the numbers they approved.

Honest attribution

Every result ties to a number we can show our work on. If we can’t measure it, we won’t claim it: “probably helped” never appears in a report.
